Pineapple Shoes. Sometimes you get the opportunity to work on some great brands and Pineapple Shoes is one of those. Synonymous with the dance studio founded by Debbie Moore in 1979 - which is thought to be one of the most famous in the world. This was the first website for the Pineapple range of shoes.
When designing the product pages I made the shoes the main focus of the page - there is no 'enlarge image' because the shots are already at their naturally larger size. And the different views of the shoes simply slide in and out of place... The user experience was paramount - right down to the 'Add to Basket' button - which became the 'Add to Shoebox' button! Product pages never looked so great!
It was clear from the outset that social media would play a part in the Pineapple Shoes website - getting messages out to their core audience. With instant feedback, rave reviews and a global potential to launch new products and offers...
